YouTube not to recommend conspiracy and medically inaccurate videos

YouTube says that it is no longer going to promote videos which comes close to promoting conspiracy or medically inaccurate videos.

The video sharing platform has said that all videos with blatant false claims will be not recommended. There are videos on YouTube which say that the earth is flat, all such false videos will now be ineligible for being recommended by the most popular video sharing platform on earth. The aim is obviously to reduce falsehoods and promotion of falsehoods by anti-social and mischievous people. The changes in the YouTube rules will however not affect the availability of videos on the YouTube platform.

Engineers at YouTube have developed Artificial Intelligence (AI) used to curate recommended videos. This is a historic step towards making technology more humane.
